EMS: If We Were Sponsored Like NASCAR

My partner and I were leaving the ER after dropping off a patient. As we round the corner to the double doors, we see a crew from a local private service. Their uniform shirts matched in color, and in stains, and the EMT at the head of the stretcher was wearing a camouflage Bass Pro Shops hat, while the EMT at the rear was wearing a Monster Energy Drink hat.

After we passed them and made it outside, my partner made the remark, “That service has an interesting uniform policy.”

“At first, I thought they were sponsored like NASCAR drivers.” I laughed, “Could you imagine?”

I spent the rest of the shift thinking about all the logos that I saw around us daily, and set out to make this strip.
